This year there was a record 800,000+ international students that came to the United States to study. The 1st, 2nd and 4th highest percentage of students came from China, India and Saudi Arabia, respectively. Also, the countries sending the most refugees to the U.S. in recent years have been Burma, Bhutan, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia. All of the countries mentioned are very difficult to enter for American missionaries. There needs to be a greater, more intentional focus on these groups. We believe with dedicated and passionate personnel in this area we can become a champion for this strategic outreach.
